I needed a pair of valences made. I provided the fabric to Khalib. The first run was too wide to fit in my window alcove. Khalib was so patient and he shortened the one valence to make it fit. They came out beautiful!!!

I had a very complex job – 70 feet of curtain around a wrap around porch hung by industrial curtain rod. It had to support lot of weight, it had to have cut outs for stairs in the right place, it needed opposing Velcro strips on the corners for Curtains coming from different directions to meet and connect. Medina did a fantastic job on all of that and they added a panel with a magnetic seam to allow access up and down the stairs and into the porch. It was quite a job and they performed it without error and with a lot of pride in their work. I can’t imagine that they could have done a better job!

Great experience here! I had my car seat resewed by hand and he added some foam that was lost, it was finished within 25 minutes. Nice and personable place. Cost was $77, but I know this job takes years of experience to master. Highly recommend.

Great customer service. Khalid was helpful in choosing a fabric for our dining room chairs. Madina did a fantastic job reupholstering our chairs. Chairs were picked up and delivered back to our home within a week. Job was completed just as promised and the chairs look great. They did a professional job covering our chairs. We highly recommend Madina Upholstery and Drapery.

The threading of my Loop Loc pool cover attaching the cloth squares to the strips that anchor the cover onto the concrete came undone. This was exacerbated by the fact that we got a new 70lb dog that ran across the pool cover over the winter. I was having a difficult time finding a pool place or tailor that was willing to restitch the many sections that came undone until I called Madina Upholstery, Drapery & Tailoring in Springfield, VA. Ashna told me to bring it in to see what he could do, so I did. Because of the pool cover's extremely large size, the stitching could not be done by a typical sewing machine, but Ashna was willing to stitch it by hand. He looked for, found and restitched each of the many locations that came undone by hand and called me a week later to say it was ready. I am extremely happy with the great work that was done and saved me the cost of buying a new cover for my custom shaped pool. If you need to repair your pool cover, I highly recommend Madina Upholstery.

I bought an accent chair from Haverty's in 2012. Within 3 months, one of the back legs came off. Their technician came and said, it was not done right in the factory !! He fixed it but the wood (i guess processed wood) was very low quality. It came off again few weeks ago and I called guardsman and sent pictures and obviously I was told it is not covered. I contacted Khalid from Madina upholstery (he did another 4 dining chairs in the past which was also an excellent job). He changed the whole bottom part with real wood and fixed all four legs for a very reasonable price. I would recommend him highly.

I'm so so happy with their customer service and the overall experience I had with these guys. I came in very late with an order and the next day was a holiday. And these guys went out of their way to help and get everything ready the next day and had me come and pick my order which was nicely and meticulously done and wrapped. I could not be any happier. It should also be noted that their price is very reasonable compared to other shops that I checked. They really reinvented customer service. So sad I couldn't give more than 5 stars...
